My name is Yuli and I'm from Melbourne Australia. I've also booked into this tour- very excited! Always wanted to go to Mexico

I'm doing 3 nights pre tour in Mexico City, so it would be good to catch up if you get their early. Also, I have 3 nights after the tour in Cancu, currently looking at options of what to do.

Hey! I booked two extra nights before the tour, but will be flying out on the day the tour ends.

I got an e-mail today from Contiki, you might have gotten it too, and they are telling me that the tour is cancelled from a lack of people. After I check with my work and the friends I booked the tour with, I might be on the June 6 tour. If you move to that date too then for sure it would be awsome to meet up. Here's to hoping I can re-schedule

Hey Yuli, so I rebooked my tour, and I am still in Mexico on the same days, just on another tour. My new tour is the Southern Mexico, and afterwards my friends and I are going to stay in Cancun for a week before jetting off. How about you?

Yes, I had to rebook. Unfortunately it made a mess of things abit, but I still wanted to do the whole Mexico tour, so now i'm on the 6th of June start.
However, the Mexico Grande encompasses your smaller tour, the Southern Mexico, so yeah technically we are on the same tour for the second half! You just join up with the group half way! So we still get to meet up

Great that you are spending time in Cancun! As I didn't know what to do after with the 10 days or so spare in the middle of my holidays, I've since organised to head to the US straight away and i've joined another contiki tour there..
which means spending more $$ but what can you do!
I'm still seriously excited and can't wait!

It now looks like I will be staying in Cancun for 2 extra nights after the tour has finished.
Will you stay at the contiki hotel for your week afterwards or book somewhere else?

No, we are all going to one of the all inclusive resorts after the tour. It's not far from the contiki hotel though. I looked on a map, and it looks like they are almost within sight of eachother. No more than a 2Km apart by my estimate.
