I just thought I should put a post in here because the board for this tour was empty. I would like to go to Turkey some time, but at the moment I have no plans to go.

I'm looking at this trip. I loved Turkey for those 4 hours I was there on the Aegean Classic trip and would like to go back. Am trying to convince my sister to come along with me. It was so much fun haggling at the bazzar and the Turkish bath was an interesting experence.

Everybody likes Turkey! I'm going on the May 19 trip -- and Jim, if you go on the Egypt and the Nile trip you will love it! I went in Oct 2006 and it was fantastic!

Turkey is underrated, that's all.

I most definately plan on doing this trip in the future. When, however, is another story.

With Dollar holding strong vs. Turkish Lira, and shopping, weather in may-june, Turkey is one of the nicest countries to visit. Not to mention, some of the best food and nightlife in europe.. can't wait!!

Just returned from Istanbul and the city has many historical places to offer the tourist.
Highly recommended to all travelellers especially those who are interested in seeing historical buildings and lavish palaces.
