We're from Adelaide. My name is Jenna i'm 23 and my bro's name is Brett, he's 20 but will turn 21 before the tour. Are you going to be spending any extra time there? We will prob get to LA a few days before the tour starts then stay in New York for a few extra days after. We're thinking about going to Hawaii after aswell.

My names Jess im 22.. Im getting to LA a day before the tour starts the leaving NY sometime that day after it ends. I have friends im meeting in Pennsylvannia so will be spending about 4wks with them and travelling around a bit more too.
Hawaii would be awesome!! ive always wanted to go to Hawaii, but im thinking maybe my next trip. Its so hard theres so many places to see and u wanna see at much as possible within the budget! Have u guys been on contiki before, or been o/s before?? I went to Vanuatu for a wk after yr12 but thats as far as ive been.

Yeah there are so many other places I wish I could see while i'm there, would be good to go to Canada aswell. If only I had more money!!This will be the first time overseas for both of us so really looking forward to it. Should be awesome.

hey hey!! my name is chloe, im turning 21 in feb and im from perth.. ive just got home from doing the european explorer for 33 days.. was THE best fun!! met the most amazing ppl and cant wait to do it all over again.. asap!! so ive come home completely broke haha but thats a minor detail! im looking very closely at booking this tour have u guys booked yet? i can only get enough time off work to do the tour and come home but i think i can have a couple extra days before and after!

Hey Chloe, the european explorer sounds awesome, I wanna do a europe trip too. Probably have to wait a while after this one though, I will be completely broke too once this trip is over. We haven't booked yet but will probably do it soon.

Ive already booked for this tour, have to pay for the 6mth discount at the end of this month. Im only getting to LA a day before i figured that will be enough time to get over the flight.. hope so anyway!! Then im meeting up with sum friends i met after the tour to spend a few weeks with them. I'm also looking at doing the North by north east tour in september just be4 i come home.. not sure though!
Did u do the european 1 by yourself? was it easy making friends? were u scared going by urself??

A friend and I are in the process of booking a trip - wanting to depart from NY to London then just a handful of Euro countries.. - I think the bank account says no to that!! Jess - are u nervous about travelling alone? I have found ive been let down many times by friends & thinking if it happens again i might just book this trip and go solo..

Hey Rachelle, yeh i am really scared about going alone, i'll be so nervous!! But they say ur only alone till u get to the hotel.
I had the same trouble as u trying to fit in with a friends plans who has a lot more money to spend on traveling them me. we were going to do Europe but i really wanted to see my US friends as well. anyway in the end i just decided to go by myself do the US this year and maybe Europe next yr if I can afford it. So yeh if u decide to go alone, dont be scared i'll be there to lol!! Thats so cool u'll be 23 in Vegas! what a birthday!!!

Hey Ruby!! Thats great, ive booked it to! Where abouts are you flying from? and with which airline. Air NZ was the cheapest for me so im flying from Syd to NZ then to LosAngeles.
Im excited to but very scared, hasnt quite hit how far away i will be from home. Ive only been to Vanuatu before so nothing like this at all either. It will be fun! We'll have an awesome time, and i am looking forward to the Sex and the city tour too!! Ohh i read somewhere its best to book over the net in advance coz its so popular. think i'll look into that a bit closer.

Hi Rachelle and Ruby. Nice to see some more people coming on this trip.

We have decided to get to L.A four days before the tour starts, so that we have 3 full days to go to some places before the tour. We wanna go to san diego for one of the days (probably go to san diego zoo) and to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Disneyland on the other 2 days. If anyone is gonna be around before the tour and wants to join us at any of the places your more than welcome. Would be great to have some other people to go with.

i'm flying from melb to syd then syd to L.A. and i'm flyin with the new virgin international which is called V Australia or something they start flying in Feb i hope they dont crash or anything but my travel agent assures me they will b fine. i would have gone with another air line a bit more well known but it was over $1000 extra and i thought that could b better spent on shoppin on my trip haha! i'm so glad i jumped on this website and met u guys i'm not scared at all now well apart from trying to find my way from LA airport to the contiki hotel by myself but i'm sure ill b fine.
