Hey how are you,

I will be going on the best of usa tour in october as well, there is going to be a small group of us.(2 boys, 2 girls)

It is going to be the first time that 3 of us have been to the states, the other has been a few times.

Anyhow just seen your msg and thought I would reply.

Are you going to be doing any extras? A couple of us are thinking we would like to take a trip to the grand canyon, but were not 100% sure yet.

Cant wait for it, should be awesome!

Hey,

Yeah we are all booked for the Oct 19th tour also.

Were flying in from Australia 1 day before, I think we arive about midday and staying at the hotel that contiki starts from, I was hopping that I would be able to get the afternoon to explore a bit of disneyalnd as it seems to be right next to the hotel, but I'll see as I may be really tired, who knows.

Are you going straight to the states from europe, You're going to be all holidayd out (-:"

I know the 2 girls i'm going with want to do a couple of the extra (sex & the city tour, etc.) So I am definitelly going to skip that!

Were definitelly booking a tour of alcatraz though, I'm pretty sure were just going to book everything in when were there anyway, see how we go.

And then were staying on a extra 3-4 or so days in New York at the end of the tour. (changing hotels though) Did you know the NYC marathon is on on the 2nd Nov. It was crazy trying to book a hotel for those extra few days, apparentlly it's a MASSIVE thing.

I wonder if the tour will be booked out? If it will be mostlly australians? None of us have ever been on a contiki tour before!

Have a awesome time on your trip before, when do you do that?

The NYC marathon takes place the end of October/early November each year. It's a 26 mile (45km) run through the 5 boroughs of New York.

Tiffany,

You're welcome. Let me know if there's anything else about New York you'd like to know more about. I'll do my best to answer it.

Hey Loogie, have you done "the best of usa" trip before?

Is there anything we should know about the states, the 4 cities in particullar, LA, San Fran, Vegas & NY?

Do you know if the city is any different when the marathon is on, as in is everything still open, easy to access, etc.

Oh by the way msznumeroUNO we are all between 20 & 25. How old are you?

No, I never went on this trip before.

When the marathon is on a lot of the city is closed down until mid afternoon, especially Central Park where the race finishes.

What would you like to know the 4 cities you've mentioned?

Haha yeah true .. it's a short tour the only thing im more worried about is the tips well obviously money as well but the tips i think thats a bit silly .. they get paid to earn money not for us to tip them rofl..

i think i leve in like 240 days or something..maybe a bit less i forget
