Has anyone received their contiki docs yet?

I know we're supposed to get them 3 weeks prior, but hey...

Also, some feedback has been posted about Best of USA, by a guy who's just come back. They're under "North America Trip Reviews".

I've posted a few questions, and he's kindly come back and answered them, so if you want to ask him anything...

Hey all!
Not long to go now. I got my travel docs today...yay, it seems just a little bit more real now! Does anyone know whether there should be any flight info for our flights during the tour in the pack? There was nothing like that in there, so when do we find out that sort of stuff? Hope everyone is well.

I just got the docs yesterday (woohoo!) - I'm a bit confused about the meeting the night before. There IS a meeting at the Best Western, right? It's a bit confusing... hehe

oh so there IS a pre-tour meeting! i was wondering about that.. I was gonna ask where we meet, etc..

note to self: head to travel agent to see if my travel docs have come in.

arghh i have 4 days until my exams are over then i can fully concentrate on THIS TRIP!!!!!!
YEE-YAAAA i'm so excited! (as i'm sure everyone is!) i can't wait to meet everyone! we are gonna have the BESTT time EVERRRRRR!!!

haha.. yeah i feel a little sad about not being home for Christmas. but a white Christmas will be absolutely amazing. can't wait to check out rockerfeller centre with the Christmas tree and go iceskating in central park! woohoo...

not long to go now...cant believe its almost time to go! i haven't even packed yet lol or even thought about packing and i'm off in 14 days...crazy!
ice skating in central park is going to be amazing!! EVERYTHING is going to be amazing lol i cant wait!
i'll be on the eastern discovery tour for new years so i'm not quite sure where we'll be for that lol but should be good

hey is anyone going to be in LA around the 9th - 11th december??? i have just found out the Kathy Griffin (crazy comedian lady lol) is going to be doing a show in LA on those dates - i am looking at going (thought it would be cool to see a comedy show while i'm there) so if anyone else is interested in joining me let me know

Cool - yeah i got our tickets through this website - http://www.tickco.com/ - just check out Los Angeles and the date and Kathy Griffin comes up - I just booked and paid for them online and ticket the pick up at box office option to get them on the night.
yeh Brendan and I are going to check out Knotts Berry Farm on the 10th before the Kathy show
I'm not going to Disneyland though because i'm going to do Disneyworld in Florida while i'm on my second tour...might just call in and have a quick look though depending on what else i have to do while i'm there. Yep i'm staying at anaheim are you and your mates staying at anaheim too??

Yeah it’s insane hey? After months and MONTHS of waiting we’ve only got a few more days really. I’m freaking out cos it’s my first big trip ever and cannot wait to make the most of experiencing EVERYTHING. I know it’ll be the little things that’ll freak me out like Cap’n Crunch, Walmart, driving on the right hand side??

We’re staying downtown LA. We’ve hired a car so we’re gonna take things as they come once we get there. But we’ll prob leave KBF and Disneyland to when we’re at Anaheim cos it’s too far

You’re leaving a few days earlier for Nashville right? That will be AMAZING too! And can’t believe you’re doing 2 tours back to back! Good to make the most of it while you're in the neighbourhood!

You still want to meet up on the Friday? We can post up details for anyone else that’ll be in LA before the tour starts… it mind be a bit difficult cos we're so far apart. I guess there’s always the pre-tour meeting on Saturday anyway =)

its absolutely insane, incredible, scary & the most exciting thing EVER haha i dont think ive ever felt so many different emotions at the one time before! its crazy. only 5 sleeps now
i'm staying at anaheim but am hiring a car too so will be travellin into downtown LA a few times before the tour starts. I have booked another concert to go to in LA on the 11th December aswell so will be in there for that.
