I have now booked the 9am 7th Aug Alcatraz tour

I've also got the 2day hopper pass for Disneyland and California Adventure Park on Aug 4 and 5, waiting for it to be processed and confirmation via email, which will hopefully be soon

I’m thinking of doing a Grand Canyon day tour on Day 7 (i.e. Sat 9 Aug), my sister went with this company as well and said its good and def a good price, no helicopter flight in the one I am thinking of doing, but I sort of prefer this one:

In NYC, I really want to do the Movie and TV tour, either on Day 11 (Mon 11th) or Day 12 (Tues 12th)

I think this company (On Location tours) is the one Contiki goes through too, because their blurb is pretty much the same! Lol, but this optional excursion Contiki has on their website doesn’t mention the additional NBC studios tour on offer (only $2 extra), which I really want a chance to do.
You need to separately book in this NBC-part of the tour on a date and time they have available, but they run every ½ Mon-Sat and every 15 mins on Suns, so pretty sure there will be a chance to fit this 1 hr tour in during our days free in NY, if we can’t do it on the same day we do the TV and Movie part of the tour.
If anyone is interested in this New York TV/Movie Sites + NBC Studio Tour, please let me know, it should be lots of fun!!

I haven’t decided on what Broadway show or show in Las Vegas I want to see, any ideas anyone?
But the Las Vegas Variety show ($52, on Contiki’s optional excursion list) sounds good and a way to get a taste for a Las Vegas show, so I might go for this since I don’t really have any particular show in mind at the moment

hey, i know that when i did contiki in italy there was not much time to sleep due to how much there was to see and do...

Hales and Bec - that Grand Canyon tour sounds like lots of fun! Sure you will both really enjoy it!

Michael: I think we will all be surprised by how little sleep we can manage with over the 13 days as there will be so much to see and do, so we probably won't want to spend too much of it sleeping lol

Wow! I can't believe the tour starts in just over 2 weeks, the last few weeks have gone by SOO fast!

Has anyone looked into or booked any Broadway shows whilst we're in NYC?

Also, I am thinking of doing 'The Beast" optional excursion, anyone else up for it? It should be fun
