well ive had advise that tijuana really isnt worth the trip there. apart from the main street there is not alot to do.
but i'd be up for making a day out of san diego for sure =D

Hi nikki, i have also read on this board that tijuana is pretty average but i figure it might be worth a quick look, but the more i see and read about san diego the more i would like to spend a day there, it would be extra great to have other people to go with.

the only think is i read it takes about 2 and a half hours to get to Tijuana. Thats 5 hours gone of travelling alone. have also been reading more info about tijuana on other websites that say much the same thing like its not worth it its full of cheap crappy shopping and lots of beggers. i might try and look some more stuff up on this website for people who have been but we'll see what happens =D

a 5 hour round trip seems a waste if it's not that great a place. whatever you want to do will be fine.

I have been in Qld for work since Tuesday so didn't get a chance to get online. How hot is it in Melbourne today, when I got off the plane I nearly passed out.
I couldn't change my flight so I still get in on the 28th at 10am. So you girls probably will want to set off before I arrive, however if not I would love to go to San diego or mexico border, I am up for anything. I forgot to ask my travel agent about universal studies ticket, but plenty of time, will do next time I am in the area.speak soon, Kathryn.

Hi Kathryn, i'm sure we can wait for you to get in before we head off to sandiego,if thats what we all want to do, theres no reason it cant be an afternoon/evening out. from what i've read san diego is a much nicer and more interesting place than tijuana anyway.

Looks like there will be a few people doing this tour. My best friend and I are planning on booking soon. Can't wait. We are planning to fly in on the 21st and stay with some friends in LA till the 25th then go down to Anaheim till the tour starts. We were planning on going down to San Diego before the tour starts as well and then staying in NY for a couple of days after. Anyway will see you all in August.

Hey, we are from brissy, but found out today that the trip is booked out so that sucks. Hopefully will be on the October 19th on though. Hope you all have fun.

Thats a shame that you missed out on this tour but I am kind of glad to hear that the tour is fully booked, as i guess it means it's not likely to be cancelled. Hopefully you'll have no trouble getting on another one, good luck!

Actually heard from the travel agent today and it sounds like she may have held us seats on the tour. So fingers crossed!!!
