Anyone booked and confirmed this tour date or considering booking?

I'm a 25yr old female from Canberra and booked on this tour. I will probably be travelling solo, at least at this stage anyway. I have been on a tour before in Europe, but this will be my first Contiki tour, can't wait!

What is everyone plans for before/after the tour? I'm heading straight to London after the tour and spending a bit of time in the UK/Europe before heading back to OZ mid Aug.

I'm planning on doing the same thing as you and goign over to UK and Europe before returning home.

I will be booking for one of the July Best of USA tours though.

I haven't booked it as yet but am almost positive I'll be doing the Best of USA tour on 5th of June, 2010.

I'm a 26 yr old female from Sydney and will be travelling solo. I haven't been overseas EVER so this trip will be a very unique experience for me. I'm very much looking forward to it! My plan is to have a couple of days in LA before the tour to get over the jet lag, then stay on in New York for a few days after the tour. After that I was thinking of heading down to Miami.

What date are you thinking of flying over to LA? Do you know what optional extras you're thinking of doing yet?

Hi Hayley,

I'm flying in the day before and then flying out to London on the last day of the tour. So far, I know our starting point hotel is the Kyoto Grand in LA.

For the options, I plan to do all but the helicopter tours.

How about yourself, which optionals were you considering doing?

Heading to Miami afterwards sounds very nice! If I had more time I would have stayed on afterwards, but I have more to see and do in Europe and friends to catch up with.

It's nice to see there are others travelling solo and of the mid 20s range as well!

Hay all im planning on doing this tour aswell, im off to the travel agent today to organise things. Ill be travelling alone so a little bit worried but from all the reviews ive read everyone gets along fine.
Im goig to stay in LA a couple days prior to the tour then a few after in NY. Also going to do 3 days in Hawaii on way home. Where are you all from? Im Carli 22 from Sydney Aus.

Susan, sorry about the long delay in response I haven't checked this site in a while! Think I would also do all the options except for the helicopter rides (they freak me out!!).

Carli, good luck with organising things. I still haven't booked it in cause I'm just waiting on financial things but I will 99% be doing this tour on that date. Don't worry about travelling alone, you'll be fine as long as you're in a group, I haven't personally done it either but will be and that's what everyone keeps telling me!
