I'm from Canada and this is the 2nd Contiki tour that I've done solo. I had a blast on the first one and am hoping to repeat on this tour!

Just wondering if anyone's considering going on a tour of Alcatraz as, according to this website, it's not included in this tour package.

i dont think i'll be doing the Alcatraz tour - not for me. Sailing past it on the evening cruise optional will be enuff for me

i'm having more trouble choosing between universal studios or disneyland in LA..

im thinking about doing the alcatraz tour, im going to do as much as possible. but i've been disney and universal studios plenty of times so dont mind missing them out if i need to.

i've done them both in orlando, florida. i go quite often and they're both great. you should try looking at what rides they have at these parks and see which one has more rides and shows you're interested in.

def going to Universal !.. might go to disneyland the day before the tour on the 14th coz my plane arrives at 10am - have nothing else to do that day..and i want to go to Newport beach on one of the free days
