Hi there

I am a new member to Contiki and have not yet travelled overseas however I am hoping to do in the future. My favourite destination in the world to travel to would have to be the US. Who has done this trip and can anyone inform me as to their thoughts,likes and dislikes of the trip? Would this be a good trip for a 1st time international traveller to try out? Also, I'd love to hear from an Aussie's who have done this trip too as I am from the land down under. Cheers.

I went on this trip in August. I was like you in not having traveled over seas before. I went by myself and had a great time. I am a 22 year old Australian Male. What i liked about the trip was you make friends really easily because there is people around the same age, most of them came by themselves aswell, You get to see 4 great destinations in LA, San Fran, Vegas and NY. You don't have to spend lots of time traveling because you fly from place to place. Another great thing is that you have things planned for you but you also have lots of free time, so if you wanna do some things on your own you can. Another great thing in America they have a thing called free poar in the bars, so when you buy a drink your getting 4 or 5 shots in one drink.
There was only a couple of bad things about the trip;
you have to get up at 5am to travel to the Airport.
San Fran has a lot of homeless people
The time flys so you have to make the most of it.
I would recommend this trip to Anyone, i am already planning m next trip with contiki to Europe.
