hey guys, does anyone know which hotel contiki will be using for our stay when we get to New York from vegas? I've booked my additional nights stay at the beacon but just wanna know if we will already be there beforehand so that i dont need to worry about getting to the Beacon after the tour ends.

alexi i have spoken with contiki and we are staying at the beacon, i have booked an extra couple of nights there as well, so we wont have to change hotels which is good , i also just joined the facebook group,
cant wait not long now !!

I have booked extra nights at the beacon and will be departing September 12th back to London on a night flight. Am going solo.

i have heard its a really nice hotel much nicer than the one they used to use which is good, im leaving on the 12th of september as well im going to canada for 6months on a working holiday, it sounds like there will be a few staying on after the tour in new york for a few days so hopefully we can all still hang out
im going solo as well really looking forward to it there sounds like there is a few of us wich is good.

sounds great! yay lots of solos going! yeah we should definately still hang out once the tour ends, i'm pretty sure also that a lot of people will be staying a few extra nights.

I'm not really sure if we have to pre purchase tickets to Statue of Liberty (ferry to island) as ive heard they get booked out and i dont think our tour includes our tickets to it...does it? also, for the empire state building i think we need to also pre purchase tickets.

If anyone knows whether they are included on our best of usa tour please let me know so that i dont end up buying tickets i don't need!!! lol

Hey everyone, I am also doing this tour too. I from Melb and travelling solo for 6 weeks! Lexie i have just sent you an email to your hotmail account. I have also requested to join the group on facebook.
I arrive in LA at the Stovall Inn on the 28th Aug the day before the tour. I am really keen to meet up the night before in the resort bar I have just purchased Alcatraz tickets too for the 2nd September at 9am!
Im also keen on doing the S&TC tour Movieworld and Disneyland, can anyone tell me, do we need to book these before hand or can we do it whislt on the trip??
