I'm travelling with one of my mates - we are having a weekend stopover in Miami on the way to LA and so also arriving on the 18th - think we are looking at doing Disneyland on the Monday afternoon and we have booked onto an all day city tour on the Tuesday. I'm sure you'll find us in the bar on the Monday and Tuesday nights though !  We are also stopping in Vegas for another couple of nights after the tour ends.

It's our first contiki trip so not quite sure what to expect - I'm guessing that we will be the amongst the oldest on the trip at 31 and 32 so we'll be the ones kipping on the bus after trying to stay up with all the "youngsters" !

Whereabouts are you from ? In case you hadn't guessed from my user name, we are from the Isle of Man. Not sure if the other two LA tours (Wild Western and LA to the Bay) are on the same bus up to Vegas but if so, then looks like there are a few others with us (mainly Aussies) 

Only 7 weeks to go - can't wait !

This is my first contiki trip too but I've only heard good things about it.  I'm from Glasgow and travelling solo so I'll look out for you in the bar!  I'm planning on doing plenty of partying once I get there, I've just turned 25 so not quite a youngster anymore.  Even if you are the older members of the trip I'm sure you can show everyone how i'ts done - age is just a number!

I have no doubt it's going to be an amazing trip.

I'm going to be doing the Wild Western tour, and I'm pretty certain that we're all on the same bus (thats how they did it when I did UK & Sth Ireland) I'm becomming a Contiki veteran, and I can assure you that you're going to LOVE it! Don't worry bout being older or younger. On the bus it doesn't matter. Hi all,
I'm going to be on the Wild Western tour so will be travelling with you guys until your tour finishes. I think no matter what age you are, when you're on such an awesome trip like this, you've gotta make the most of it. Lots of fun to be had as well as taking in and enjoying the awesome scenery. I'm from tropical north Queensland so spending time in the desert of Arizona is going to be so surreal!

Glad to know you're on board ! As you'll have seen from above post, we get in on the Monday and are doing the full LA tour on the Tuesday - it's the Legendary Los Angeles tour with Southern California Gray Line if anyone wants to join us !

Where are you both from ?

Huey - are you staying in Vegas after the trip finishes or heading straight off ?

G'day Greg,

I'm from Newcastle(2hrs nth of Sydney) & I will be staying in Vegas 2 more nights after the tour to study the 'what happen's in Vegas, stay's in Vegas' theory
I might be able to join you for the LA tour but am waiting for an email back from friends in LA to see if I can catch up with them. I'll let you know on the message board closer to the date.

We're doing a further two nights in Vegas as well - although we are moving to the Aladdin to be a bit more central on the strip. It'll be my third time in Vegas - such a great place !
