Sorry i was confused i was originally doing the wild western on the 23rd April but i was just told that this has been cancelled. Now im looking at booking the Western Highlights for the 30th April. I have a feeling that the Western Highlights for the 23rd April has been cancelled have you been told yet?

Hi, Yes it has been cancelled
After reading your post I rang the travel agents and they spoke to contiki and confirmed it was cancelled.
This is a real shame, cos our flights are non refundable so we've got to go on the days we booked, so therefore aren't able to do a Contiki tour

Why dont you do the California Highlights on the 23rd April starts from Vegas! Im all booked and this tour has been confirmed and its going ahead.
Sorry about the bad news! I was so upset and fustrated when i found out, i have had to plan my whole trip all over again. It would be great to meet you, im travelling on my own.

It would have been so cool to meet, but thats not gonna happen. :-(

Because we couldn't change our flights we were a bit stuck. We were offered the California highlights, but we fly into LA and home from Vegas. Thats completely opposite to the tour. I don't think we would have had time to do transfers etc. And also that tour misses out the one main thing that we wanted to do which was the Grand Canyon. You can't be that close to it without going. It would just be a sin!!

But never mind. We've booked a hotel in LA for a few days, then we get a flight from LA to Vegas and have booked a hotel there for the rest of the time. We've also booked our helicopter flight.

So we won't even be in Veags or LA when you are, so there's no chance of us meeting. :-(

Would like to hear from you again. Maybe you can email me. Let me know how the trip went etc. Maybe even if we can't meet we can still stay in touch. Hope so.

Oh my what a shame about your flights. I have had to book a flight from LA to Vegas to join the tour, i have also done the same thing, im doing a 3 hour scenic flight to Grand Canyon, i really wanted to go there so i had to do it. Where are you staying at in Vegas? I have booked the New York New York!! I cant wait.

Its been great chatting, its a bummer we didnt get to meet, it would be great knowing someone on the tour, unfortunately i have no luck with meeting anyone on my tour.
