I am on this tour! I will be travelling alone... Im 22 From Brissy Australia. Looking forward to it... is anyone else travelling alone on this tour? I have only paid my deposit too chris...still have to book flights etc and Im doing LA before and San Fran after for a few days. Very Pumped!

Im travelling alone too. So im pretty excited to get over there.
I fly into New Orleans early to meet up with a mate, finish the trip in New York and spend 5 days in New York/Conneticut in the extreme cold lol.

yeah that sounds awesome... Im flying to LA first for a few days then to New Orleans and i'll stay on 3 extra days in New york (yes in the freezing cold) and then fly to San Fran then back home! are you from Australia? Who did you book your flights through? I found a good deal on webjet but now that i have looked them up again they have all changed... dont know if its cheaper to do it online or thru a travel agent!

Just got my flights booked then. 4 out of 5 flights are with Qantas, the other is domestic with United(2 stop overs on the way over and 1 on return).
I booked mine through Expedia. I looked at Webjet, but didn't like the results that were coming up. My flights all up $1500...! I thought that was good.

Btw.....i live in Sydney, 20mins from the city and desperately want to get away

hahah cool good to hear your flights are booked! I just booked mine then too - Thru webjet... got them for $1600... thats to LA - New Orleans - NYC- San Fran - Bris... argh so pretty cheap! Im so excited! Oh your from Sydney hey? I'll be in Syd in 2 weeks for a few days - my mini holiday before the big one Well if u want add me to facebook.

The two things i wanted to get booked as soon as. Contiki & flights.....accomodation before and after, well i'll worry about that a little later.
haha im excited too, even work is suffering, because i can't stay focused. It's gonna be crazy!

So you've been to sydney before? or is this a first time thing? where are you staying?

Looks like there is going to be a few Aussies on the tour.
We are coming in from New Orleans the day before the tour then spending 10 days in New York afterwards!

My girlfriend and I are going on this trip. I cant believe how close it is. Really can't wait.

We have all our flights booked.

Our plans are for a few days in LA, before flying to NO, I think we are there a day or two before the tour. Then we have a couple days in NY after the trip before heading north into Canada.

Where abouts in LA are u staying before the tour? Im staying in Anaheim for 4 nights then after the tour 3 nights in new York then 3 nights in San Fran! Yeah, we are staying in the recommended accommodation in NO, I am sure there will plenty of the tour people doing that.

In LA we are staying at Kawada Hotel, not sure of the address (dont have my details on me).
