I am touching into New Zealand on the 29th of November, my best friend from Australia lives near Hamilton as of a few months ago so i decided to come over for a visit. Problem is she now has a full time job and cant take time off to venture to the south island with me, so i am considering going on the scenic southern tour starting December 2nd and ending December 8th, is anyone thinking of going on these dates?. I also have a question which is proababley a really stupid one, but how do i get from the North Island to the South Island? and is it expensive? Also does it take hours and hours to get from one to the other? Thanks for your time and putting up with my stupid, stupid questions!
HEy there Liss, Im a 26 yr old male from Sydney and want to go to NZ around end of November, early December. Im flexible but will be on my own and would love someone in a similar position to get in touch if they are keen to go with the flow and make own plans?? Im not sure whether to do a Contiki or do my own thing. I want to do all the adrenalin sports. IF anybody is in a similar position get in touch

I'm doing the Grand Explorer starting in Christchurch starting on 2 December. This tour includes the Scenic Southern - but I continue on when you guys finish :-( .
