I'm planning a Summer 2010 getaway to Italy! I'm not a virgin to the European experience, I was in Paris back in 2005, but as far as a tour vacation; this would be my first. I'm snaged between Italian Espresso & Simply Italy...Ughhhh! I've been longing to visit this Wonderful country for quite sometime now, and I want the BEST out of this Experience. Italy has been calling my name and actually decided to look into Contiki Tours only because my ex used to travel with Contiki when we were together and heard a lot of great things about it. He did the Simply Italy I believe back in 99/00, but that was a VERY LONG TIME AGO and that is why I need some more recent feedback. I'm still in the initial phase of planning this exciting vacation. Can someone give me a good steer? Which of the two is the best tour? Thanx.
Yes, Pompeii would be a nice city to explore; since there is history there. I get how Simply Italy would be of best interest since it incorporates more cities. But, I guess it all comes down to whether or not I want to spent all that time out there in just one country. I also want to do a short trip by train to Amsterdam; then go to London for a day or two and fly back home. I'd possibly be going with my cousin, and WE BOTH really have to sit down and decide; what to do. Thanks for the feedback.
