If you tour was cancelled list it here ...
Indicate tour name and date and date when you found out it was cancelled. Hopefully this may serve as a reference as to when tours are more frequently cancelled - or less popular. That said, you NEED to get insurance!!

(It was lucky i looked on the website and told my travel agent straight away as i managed to get on another tour yesterday (31 Jan) which was listed as call for availivilty. She hadnt heard from contiki yet! (Which i think was a bit bad on contikis part, i thought they would let her know straight away) Otherwise my travel plans would have been reallly stuffed up!

I believe they have to give at least 45 days notice when they cancel a tour.

I received an email from my Travel Agent early in the morning of January 24. I had checked the website a night or two before and it was still showing as available. After I got the email, I checked the site again and the tour was showing as "Not Available".

It looked like they had changed a lot of statuses for the tours at the same time.

I transferred into the same tour two weeks later that had become a Guaranteed Departure the same time mine became unavailable. Other dates on the tour also had their status changed, some were canceled, some guaranteed.

Man was I P*SSED!!!
AND I had gotten a discount of $150 for booking a NZ and AUS tours and they made me pay the $150 back to them after cancelling my NZ tour!
Sucks...

Clearly March/April at this point are not good dates to book.

European Contrasts... was set to depart London May 4th... Just found out today (Feburary. 7th) Looks like I might have to do a shorter trip

Simply Italy April 30-May 11 is cancelled.(Found out Feb 7) But Contiki is honouring the price and airfare for me to go on the Guaranteed Departure a few weeks later in May.
