Hi, my boyfriend and i are travelling on the european vista in dec 09.. just wondering from past travellers how much should we buget per day? also if we both have a ( prepaid) credit card each would that be the best option for us?

hi! my husband & i each had a bit of cash in our wallets, withdrawing a few hundred euros each time & splitting the money between us (for safety), we only used credit cards for larger more expensive items we purchased (not very often). We budgeted 100 euros per day (food/drinks/shopping money) and mostly stuck too it or balanced out with some days spending hardly anything & others that little bit more!
