hey guys! my names fiona, im 20 from albany in western australia and iam also doing the european whirl tour starting on the 4th of may 08! very excited and nervous at the same time, im travelling alone for the first time, eeek!
hopefully we have a good group of people to travel with

Hi Fiona! its melissa! i'm now travelling alone and am both very excited but very nervous! this is my first time overseas! it is something i have always wanted to do and can't wait! i'm so glad i won't be the only one going alone! hopefully we can keep in touch! do u know any of your flight detalils yet?

definately keep in touch, it will be good to at least half know somewhere before the tour even begins! im flying out from australia on the 19th of april and staying with a friend who lives an hour out of london. the night before the tour begins im staying at the royal national in london..i think that is what it is called!..then after the tour i have a week and a half in london on my own where i have no idea what iam going to do! was planning on doing the touristy thing and seeing all the sights. how long are you staying in london after the tour?? my flight back is on the 29th of may but i got a flexible one so i can come back pretty much whenever i want. im not as nervous now that i know im not going to be the only one going alone!!

Hello again! yeah i know the feeling. the travel agent told me i won't be the only one on my own! i fly to London from Tassie on the 1st May and have two nights at the royal national hotel and i have also got a check out London package which i get to go on the hop on hop off tour bus, the london eye, and a few discount coupons i think! i fly back the day after the tour at 11pm i think! it's a pity we weren't at the same place for longer as we could have got lost together!!

oh what a shame we wont be able to get lost together! haha. i really want to do a hop on hop off tour thing, it would be a good easy way to check out london. are u doing that before or after the tour? i'm really looking forward to going, madly saving money at the moment and i've promised myself that im not going to try and pack my whole wardrobe into my suitcase!

i'm planning on doing the hop on hop off thing the day i get there or the day b4 the tour. i also get passes to the theatre and a discount voucher to maddame tussards i think! not sure if i will do the theatre thing cos it will be at night and i'm not keen on walking around London at night by myself!

Hi Mel! I'm 21 years old. I get to London on the 30th May and yes I am staying at the Royal National for those days before the tour. I'm glad i'm not the only one travelling alone!
