no, it's not my butt... i'm a guy, as is my best mate.
we're both 24, single, heterosexual and looking forward to the trip and all that it entails. i'm an accounting student and he's a salesman. coming from melbourne where it hovers around 12 degrees in the winter, there's going to be nothing better than 5 weeks of summer in the northern hemisphere.

Cool.Yup were 3 guys from SA, my 2 mates are at varisty studying law and accounting...one I think is taking his g/f with shes a teacher in the UK at the moment so she is gonna joins us.Were all 23 my one mate is having his birthday on the plane on our way there as a matter of fact so thats were the drinking is gonna start my friend.As for myself im a pilot on contract working in sudan at the moment.So im looking forward getting out of this barren sandpit,some cooler european weather even tho its summer were doing 45'C here at the moment mate!Hopefully the beers are gonna be cold.See you soon!

my friends will be in China for 2 weeks visiting a friend on exchange, and i'm meeting up with them in london (my exams finish late). i see ur into dance music too, i hope theres a chance to go to a trance club in amsterdam. Germany is prolly no2 on my list - do u know we'll be there on the 2nd last day of world cup? too bad we'll be in munich and the finals are in berlin, haha. hopefully the atmosphere will still be there. neways i hear the tours are like 80% aussies and kiwis so u won't be too lonely!

haha, very observant of you picking up the dance music...
yeah used to be into dance music a lot more than i am currently, but it still consumes over half of my ipod. and you're into trance? well we are going to have an awesome time then... would love to go to a trance party anywhere in europe to see how they do it different to us. if not on our tour, then my mate and i are going to see what we can find in london in the couple of nights after the tour and hopefully check out some vinyl stores...
i know it sucks that we'll miss the final of the world cup by a day, but i suspect that the country will be at absolute fever pitch by that stage (as will the rest of europe) so we won't miss out on much.
what are you guys doing after the tour? the more i read about these tours, the happier i am to have booked in for 2 weeks R & R in italy/mykonos/sanotorini after it...
got my official itinerary etc from contiki yesterday (incl. the very trendy khaki passport pouch thing that you wear under your clothes haha). less than a month to go!
