Hey everyone, I just wanted to make sure...is this the Euro Whirl that leaves on May 24th/starts on the 25th...and ends on June 12th? I didn't see one that starts on the 26th.  Caleb |

Explorer this particular trip leaves on the 26th of May, I am sure there is one on the date you leave as well.
Alle we leave Melb with Cathay Pacific departing at 12.05am going via Hong Kong to London. Depart from London on the 3rd July at 12.35pm via Hong Kong back to Melb.
Currently thinking may take a pack as we are unsure how we will be getting around Barcelona and Ireland and Scottland, but may end up with a suitcase. Thanks for all your advice guys!!

I am Berna and i will also be joining this tour on the 26th of May with my friend Irene. We are 26, Filipinos and both residents of Singapore.
We'll be staying in London before and after the tour. This is my 2nd with Contiki - first is in Sydney.
We are also very excited to go on this trip!

Hey Everyone - its now officially 13 weeks till my sister and i set off for Europe!! Seriously cannot wait - i'm looking up the contiki website flat out just checking it all out and keeping up to date etc with the goss for the Whirl on 26th May! We leave Melbs on 22nd May flying Emirates, staying at the royal international for 3 nights until the contiki starts on the 26th. We catch up on the 25th as a group and meet the contiki staff etc right? Well, i'm looking forward to a drink and meeting you all then for what we hope will be the start to a non stop 20 day party Hope everyone is getting prepared and excited, and saving lots! |

yeh it is creeping up.cant wait what are you guys doing about phones? i was looking at going on roaming but vodafone is a rip off..so may get a sim over there. I arrive in London may 22-pretty sure i am staying at royal national as well.. |

Hey Kym, I am getting a sim card over there. I used my phone last time i travelled and it is really expensive. They sting you for you calling out and when someone calls you, even when you miss a call you get charged!

Hi Everyone - Yeah i think we are going to get sim cards over there aswell.. will make it easier i think.
What is everyone doing money wise? Travellers Cheques, Credit Cards, cash?? We aren't sure what is the best way to go?? Any advice would be appreciated..

Both female and from victoria.
To answer your money question I think we will both be taking 'cashpassports' you can get them from anz or travelex.
THey are preloaded cards with the currency you want on them.. think they might be ok

hey guys, may be nine weeks but its scarier when you say its 63 days and counting. I am currently looking at taking cash in the form of a thousand euro and then my VISA card, and maybe some travellers cheques....also unsure.
Still debating pack or suitcase....
