hi guys! im on the same tour as you!! my name is jess im from sydney and am travelling on my lonely! how many of you are travelling together? how old are you - im 18. When do you head over.. my flight is the 10th Aug so i have 2 nights at the contiki base before heading off!! love to hear back... woooot!

Hey there Jess, its great to hear from people who are travelling on the same tour!!! There are 4 of us travelling together. Samantha & Hollie are 20 and Bronwyn and I (Tracey) are 24. Sam, Bron and I are from Emerald, Qld and Hollie lives in Brisbane. We fly out on Aug 11th with one night at base.

Have you been overseas before? Have you been on a contiki before? Hollie is the only one out of us who has been over before. What are you planning on after the contiki trip. We have another 2 weeks of doing our own thing once contiki trip is over. We plan on heading to Ireland and seeing more of England and Wales.

i seriously cannot waittttt! i have never been to Europe and definately nowhere ever by myself! People keep telling me im crazy and it hasnt hit me yet but im so glad i booked it! - all of my friends are at uni/work so thats why im traveling a loner haha... i have no plans for after the tour i have about 4 weeks before my flight home so il be going with the flow! a few of my good friends have been on the tour last year and said they had an absolute ball! its going to be crazyyy!

hi dixie and other fellow travelers i will be joininig u on this tour. i will also be traveling alone i'm from perth í'm 22. the good thing is i'm already in europe for 3 months well working in the netherlands. just be ready to have alot of fun.

yesssss! kelly im soooo glad to hear from you!!! im starting to get a bit nervous about it all but now i now that i pretty much have a twin i think we are set!! can u believe its only 3 and a half weeks away? its going to absolutely fly!! im so excited! i know it sounds really daggy but i keep looking at my tickets and my backpack and giggling at myself! how come you are off on your own? is there special places u want to see - i cannot waitiiiit til the eiffel tower - save the best til last! hope to hear back real soon! take care

I am also so relieved that you are going solo and around my age.. I was worried everyone would be 20+ and with their buddies. right now i'm making a list of allll the things i need to pack ahha it's endless!! so many things to buy and so little time..
haha me too, i like to look at my contiki booklet a check my tickets and all! i just can't believe it's so soonnnn. i am most excited for florence and berlin! have you toured europe before?

hi qld girls not long to go now at all! its 2 weeks til i fly out tomoro! ahhh! have u girls booked accommodation for after the tour? are u planning on looking around london before heading out further as u had mentioned before?

Hey Jess, yes it is getting very close now and 2 weeks will fly so fast, we will be on the plane before we know it!!!!

Yeah we have made accommodation and car rental bookings and we plan to head from London the day after we get back from contiki to Edinburgh for couple of nights and then over to Ireland for a few days and than back into London via Bath staying in London for about 4 days or so before our flight home to Australia. Our time is pretty jam packed of lots of things to see and do.

So, have you got any plans for your entended time over there??

ive got fam friends 2 hrs from London and someone else at Edinborough - (spelling?) so ive got to decide where to first! one week to go ladies! im looking forward to hitting up many a pub and sharing alcoholic beverages and stories!!

You are lucky to have contacts and to stay with people you know, they will probably have lots of advice for you. I have had many chats with people I know who have been overseas so far this year and they all have their little bits of advice.

Can't wait!!! only 8 more sleeps for us !!!!!
