Hi my name is Madeleine and I am travelling by myself on the European Whirl 4th of June and am counting down the days. I am an aussie girl 20years old and it is my first trip overseas by myself.
i'm sooo excited

i'm travelling alone too .. the best way! i just hope that a) the bus isn't full of 18-year-olds, bless them, and b) the bus IS full of loner travellers like me. i'm terrified and excited and i really wish it was june now.. i also hope there are blokes on this trip. i see we are in excess of girls at this stage ha

Although I am not from Aussie, I'll respond just to get some sort of conversation happpening .. hah. I am from Mount Maunganui, which is possibly the most picturesque place in New Zealand. Where are the rest of you lot from?

I am just really stoked there are people my age on this trip. Woohoo! Dougall: I'm travelling after this trip .. well, going to the UK and finding a job in a bar or whatever and hopefully working my way around the UK and seeing all of it over the next two years. What are other people's plans regarding post-Contiki travel?

I'm from Brisbane. Yeah I'm travelling before and after the tour. I'm starting in London before the tour, then going back there after the tour with family in Bath. Hopefully France (my uncle has a house 3hrs south of Paris), Italy (Naples and Sicily), Greece and maybe Egypt.
I've got a 3 month holiday and I can't wait!!

Hello all - Scott here, just signed up for this Contiki and hoping to get to know a few people before it all starts. I am a Kiwi (27) from ChCh, but have been living in Perth for the last few years. This will be my first trip to Europe and can't wait - will be over there for 7weeks travelling before and after tour.
