Just wondering if anyone else is booked on this trip?! I will be arriving in London 2 days prior and departing 4 days after the tour finishs.

I booked the trip today so hopefully it all goes ahead and I can start organising everything!

Yeah there is five of us going on the 17th maybe two more. We got told that there shouldn't be a problem gettin enough people. Oktoberfest is meant to be crazy so hopefully they don't change the dates.

Yeah, I'm also going to be on that tour. Doing it by myself thou, which I'm sure won't be a problem. Can't wait for Oktoberfest!

Hi I'm Jo also heading on the tour on the 17th Sept. Its all about Oktoberfest!!! Anyone staying at the contiki hotel night before???

Yeah I'm staying two nights (Royal National) before the tour. 1 night to recharge after the long flight then a day of sight seeing around London, and perhaps a couple of beers...

Well I am a 26 year old female from Toowoomba in Queensland. And so excited about this trip. Travelling by myself and my first time on an aeroplane.

I am also stayig at the Royal National 2 night before the tour. So what time does your plane arrive in London Dan, and who are you travelling with. I am having the same idea as you, one arvo to recharge and then the next day to sightsee, and I also have 4 days after the tour to go back and visit the places that I fell in love with or missed out on seeing before the tour.

PS So cant wait for Oktoberfest.

I fly in to London with British Airways about 7am on the 15th. Then I have a month after the tour to do a bit of light travelling etc. I'm not travelling with anyone, I prefer to do the solo thing. You get to meet more people that way.

So, if you haven't been on a plane b4 you must really be excited about going on a Contiki tour of Europe?

I'm from melbourne. 27 travelling alone 2. Prob have two nights at hotel too prior. Have 2 extra weeks in uk after to catch up with all my mates travelling and uk friends. I'm so counting down the weeks, melb winters are tough.

As are Toowoomba winters, it is freezing here tonight. I am really excited about this trip. Weid to think that we will all be meeting in 3 months.

Hey my boyfriend and i are going on this tour aswell. Cant wait for the octoberfest. We will probably try and book one night accom at royal national the night before the tour. CANT WAIT

I'm 25 and from Brisbane. Travelling alone for my very first international holiday. Should be great!

I plan on staying in europe for a month after the tour ends to watch a few games in the rugby world cup before heading home.
