I can't wait either Nikita! But from what I've heard our tour won't be going to Moulin Rouge... I think we can see the Nouvelle Eve show instead but I say bugger that I'm going to the moulin rouge... I think it'll be something like 30 euro more... ah well

Yeah it doesnt go to the moulin rouge but I'm still booking a ticket. I got a quote from my travel agents, its $275 australian i think, which is about $100 more than the contiki preferred one. But heaps of my friends and cousins have gone and said its too good to miss!!
Looking forward to chatting with a few other people who are booked for this tour cause I'm travelling alone.....

Hi all, I just thought I would let you know that we have booked tickets through Viator to do a Vatican Museum, St Peter's and Sistine Chapel tour, as well as colosseum and Roman Forum tour. (not sure what time Contiki was going to organise this one so I booked both so I wouldn't miss one)

The reason is that according to a Contiki person, 'see' means drive past and have a look or get out and look from the outside. So if you want to go in and see the Sistine Chapel or climb St Peter's you have to organise it on your own!

Each tour skips the lines and the Vatican one gets you in before the crowds! The tours only go for three hours so there will be heaps of time afterward for drinking and hanging about

We have also booked another tour through these guys for Prague to see Hardcany Castle.
