Just wondering if there is anyone else going on the Grand Canadian leaving May 29 2009?

I'm a 25 year old female from Brisbane travelling solo.

Hi, i'm not doing this tour but have a look for people doing the Grand Northern tour plus the North By North East tour leaving May 29th as they will be on the same bus as you.

Yeah I have had a look and I can't find any people going on this tour. Looks like it's just me for now.. not such a bad thing, at least I won't be fighting for the best seat.

I didn't realise initially that the tour met up with 2 other tours. Is it guaranteed that we will all be travelling together or do you think that will only happen if they can't fill the bus?

I guess on one hand it will be cool cause you can meet more people but on the other hand if you make really good friends, it will suck if they have to get off half way through.

Just to let you know that You are coming in June so it still may be a little cold compared to your Australian weather. Our hot season is in July and Auguist, Just bring some light sweaters andyou should be fine.

Hey, i'm 99.9% contiki have all these tours on the same bus all the time. I know on my Grand Northern it was hard to say bye to everyone heading off in Toronto as they were most of the people i'd made friends. I think there is one girl doing the may 28th Grand Northern. Her name is Boardergirl, funny thing is she will be doing the same Canada and Rockies tour i'm going on. I can't wait, we even get to go to the Calgary Stampede.

Oh I forgot to say that I have started a facebook group called Grand Canadian May 29 2009 (or something like that)

I'm arriving in NY on the 25th May, spending a few days there before we head off.

I have also joined the group on facebook.

We get into NY about the 25th as well and where staying at the contiki hotel. Make sure you book Accomadation ASAP as I've been told its a long weekend and its very hard to accomadation that weeek.
