Hi. I'm from Brisbane and have done Contiki tours in Europe and Scandi/Russia before. I've just booked a place on this trip and have heard it's fully booked out now. I'll be doing the Big Apple Explorer beforehand and arrive in NY on 27 April. Am really looking forward to it! My suspicions are it'll be full of Aus/NZ people - anyone out there??

I'm looking at doing both tours after you, but am kinda concerned about the hotel in new york. They change from the hotel beacon to the marrakech in NY from march onwards. Don't mean to put a downer on your trip but my advice? Read some reviews before hand. They kinda got me worried,

Yep, I've read the reviews. I won't be staying there before the trip (cheaper prices elsewhere), but have little choice for the trip itself. Think I'll just have to put up with it though - have stayed in worse before, Hey, things could improve before then too!
