Hi,

I am going on the Grand Canadian tour in May 07. I would love any helpful hints for this tour from anyone who has already done it. Or, if you're also doing this tour, say hi!

Apparently the Grand Canadian tour links up with the Grand Northern. I am going on the Grand Northern tour in May so may see you there!

Hey Adrian

I am doing the Grand Southern before so am in NY for about 3 days before we all head off on our travels. I think us on the Grand Northern are meeting for a drink / meal the day before (I think we'll probably meet around 6 in reception ... I dunno!lol) you all on the Grand Canadian should come!

Hey everyone,

My friend and I arrive in NY on 2nd May (at 0013hr - yuck). We are not sure what to do on our free day in NY yet....

On Day 7 of the tour, during our free day in Toronto, we were thinking of doing a day trip to Niagara Falls. Anyone else have a similar idea?? Smiler

Heya, we were thinking of david letterman or something like that on one of the days before, i was going to check to see if tix become available online in march?? let us know if u suss something out sooner - cos we are definitely in!
Also i'd love to see niagra falls so thinking that could be fun.
I can't find much about this hop-on, hop-off bus tour, sounds good tho (tho surely not as good as moi beloved S&TC tour!!). Planning a bit of general wandering around the ground zero area too...
But both my friend and I are definitely keen to meet up (safety in numbers in the big city!!!) so hopefully we can all work something out =)

Hi,

If you are wanting to find out info on the hop-on hop-off bus tour go to your local travel agent I booked my hop on-off ticket throught Qantas Holiday (the tour was listed in their catalouge)

I am thinking of going and seeing a Broadway Musical - Hairspray the Musical (I'm a sucker for musicals). Probably go two nights before our tour leaves.

Would like to catch up before tour.

I'll be arriving in NY on the evening of 29 April.

I know many will be staying at Hotel Beacon. I'm just wondering if anyone is staying somewhere else or can recommend anything?
