Hi, I'm doing this same tour but on August 10. Don't be nervous - this is my 4th Contiki tour. You will have so much fun and you won't regret going! Contiki does everything so well and you will be safe the whole time. I've gone on every tour by myself and have had no problem getting to know everyone. If you have any questions about Contiki - let me know, sschroeffel@cfl.rr.com. Oh, and just pack casual clothes, maybe one nice outfit. You won't have to wear fancy stuff to go out at night - I've only really worn jeans on Contiki tours. HAVE A BLAST!!!

I am seriously considering this trip, however my main concern is my age (20yrs) and traveling alone. Do most people travel with contiki alone or in grps? Will I most likely be one of the youngest in the group? Also, how big are the groups?

Great to hear from others on tour. Thanks Stacey for that advice on clothes . Erica ive just turned 22 and doing this tour by myself! It seems like lots of other people are going alone too, so should be heaps of fun!!!. How much spending money is everyone taking?

Thanks Anna! I just booked last week.I am actually from Canada and I have been out West many times before. The rockies are one of the most beautiful places you'll ever visit and I can't get enough! As for spending money...I guess it depends on if whether or not you do the additional trips. Our tour only includes 1 meal a day...I would say that we could need anywhere from $20CAN to $80CAN a day.

Only 2 days left...I hope my post is not too late! I am really not at all sure what to pack. I live in Toronto, and it was been extremely hot all summer, but I'm thinking it is usually a little colder in the mountains? Also...I have no idea what to expect for the evenings. Do we bring some nicer outfits for dinner/bars (if that is what goes on during these trips) Or are evenings more casual? My travel egent didn't really say and I havn't recieved anything from Contiki. And Carrie I am from Mississauga, a smaller city just outside of Toronto. I hope you're enjoying Toronto, but I promise you that Alberta and B.C. are much nicer places.
