I am a single female also booked to go on the Canada/Rockies tour from Sept 5 - 15. I am arriving in Vancouver on Monday Sept 1 to do a bit of sightseeing before the tour and am staying at the hotel the tour is departing from.

I'm just wondering how everyone plans on getting from the airport to the Sandman Hotel? It seems the Airporter service no longer stops at the Sandman.

Hey guys! You guys sure about the Airporter not stopping at the hotel anymore? Just checked their website and they still show it as a stop. Either way, there are many other stops near the hotel, so I guess you can still take it and then get off of it somewhere nearby... doesn't seem like a long walk. Vancouver Airporter service
The Vancouver Airporter service has advised that they are no longer offering route 3 which includes the Sandman Hotel Downtown, The Rosedale on Robson, Georgian Court and the Westin Grand. The closest stop to these hotels is the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver which is Approximately 6 blocks away.
The cost of a cab to these hotels is approximately cad $35-40.

Would love to hear if anyone else's travel agent has told them different?

Hey anyone going on the 5th Sept tour. I'm arriving in Vancouver the afternoon of Monday, 1st Sept to do a bit of sightseeing before the tour - is anyone else going to be there then?

I'm arriving at the hotel on the 3rd early in the evening. So if any of those who're getting there before the 5th wanna get together for a couple of beers I guess we can meet at the hotel bar and then take it from there. What do guys think??
