I'm a single gal coming over from Australia and heading on this tour before I head over to Winnipeg for Uni exchange. I'm staying at the Sandman (the hotel organised by Contiki) 2 nights before and 2 nights after the tour. Good to see some other Aussies will be on the trip. SO excited!!!

Carolyne, I was thinking about $100 a day too. They say some days we will spend lots and others not much at all, so I reckeon that budgeting $100 a day should cover everything - I hope.

I just booked my tour today...so close! Im staying at the hotel that contiki books us in the night before..and then prob a hostel afterwards.

Awesome Cass! when do you get in? we could possibly even be on the same flight haha. I'm staying in Vancouver for uni..im studying creative arts management and international studies..should be alot of fun! What uni are you off to?? are you planning to go home straight after the semester finishes for christmas or are you staying around to do some travel? I don't know what I'm going to do yet!

I'm headed to Winnipeg, Manitoba to study Law/Psychology. For X-mas, I'm headed to New York to meet up with my parents who coincidentally will be there for a conference! Then home for New Years

I don't know if it is possible for you reading my answer but anyway ..... I'm landing to Vancouver airport at 9:45 pm on 7th and I think I'll take a lot of time before arriving to Sandman Hotel, so I'll stay very late there and probably you are already asleep ....
I would like to meet all of you before starting the trip, it would be so nice!
