Great to hear from you! I'm arriving a couple of days before the tour and then staying for 6 days afterwards so will really be able to see the sights! What are your plans?

We get there one day before, then we are staying for 5 days afterwards - we are going to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York before that so it will be a big trip! Are you only doing the Contiki tour and then flying back home?

Yeah I'm just doing the one tour this time but hopefully more in the future

I'm staying at the hotel orgnaised by contiki for the first 2 days prior to the tour. Then for after the tour I'm staying at the Barclay Hotel. Staying there as a package deal with flights run by United Travel here in New Zealand, so thats saved a lot of hassle for me finding a place to stay. Where are you and Josh staying?

We havent found any accomodation in Vancouver yet, I'm still booking hotels for other places so hopefully I should have that done in the next few weeks!
How much are you paying at the Barclay? I didnt want to stay in a hostel, and I just had a look at your hotel and it looks really nice

No I haven't done any contiki tours before - the sum total of my overseas travel is a trip to Sydney so I'm really looking forward to going somewhere new.
The brochure I've got from the travel agents prices the Barclay from $41 to $87 per person. But there is also the Howard Johnson Hotel which is quite reasonably priced from $52 to $110 per person. Those are both in NZ dollars though. Hope that helps

Sara, I would like to ask you a question: How do you arrive into Vancouver City from Airport?
I know that in Canada all is very espensive and about the means of transport, it is the same! Do you know how is possible to arrive in Vancouver by a cheapest way?

I don't know if this is the cheapest way to get from the airport to vancouver but I'm planning on taking the bus.

hi i'm christina nz, i'm goin by myself as well so a lil scared as haven't done a contiki before but canada is so gorgeous so it shuld be gud! i'm guna be doin some traveling rund the states before the tour im staying in vancouver the night before the trip as well, and staying on in canada after hopefully guna meet up with some friends
