HiHi, Im aussie (Sunny Coast, Qld & before that NSW)- but currenlty living in Vancouver (Since Aug08) Here on a working visa. Ive done the Grand Southern in Feb 2007 it was a fantastic trip. Pervy you will love it- I would do that one over and over again. Also did the Grand Northern in aug/Sep2008. This too was a fantastic trip- the people i met were amazing. And all the parks were just breathtaking.... where are you all from?

Hey Nic, can't wait for the Southern but i'll be honest and say that the Stampede is No1 on things to see this time round. I did the Northern in June 2007. Had Todd and Greg as TM and Driver. I'm from South Auckland New Zealand.

Ohh me too- Im just dying to go to the Stampede- its sad but im alwasy on the website, just checking it out, dont want to miss out on anything. lucky you as you will be going to Dallas- you'll be able to get yourself some boots. Todd was my tour manager for the GN, and I had Drew Walker & Greg for the GS. If you get drew as the tour guide he is pretty cool- has an awesome southern accent. Well looking foward to meeting you... Its funny now speak to some others its all feeling rather real now.

Hi Kylie, The Aussie and NZ always take over the contikis its great. Oh thats good, the stampede is going to be great. have you read anything about whats included with our tickets- it think its about $150- I think it includes the Rodeo and Chuck Races, but wanted to know if it includes the evening show aswell and generall entry? I guess it would as it wouldnt make sense for it to not. yep im 24 Red Face) getting old lol. Are you travelling alone? you will have a blast- its very very addictive

Haha Nic you just made me pee myself a little, getting old at 24.
Get this, Todd is doing the Canada and Rockies tour that leaves after ours. Tried to get him to do this one but he didn't. Should get to see him in Anaheim just before heading out on the Southern.
I'd say the Stampede optional will cover everything for the price we pay.

Hey there to you all

Well sorry it has been such a long time since I was on here. I have been away for nearly 9 weeks!! I have just got back from 2 weeks snowboarding in Austria ( Contiki Trip )

I am super excited about this summer - doing 2 trips and will be travelling for 2 months!! Just gotta make some money ( this credit crunch sucks ) but hey thats what loans and credit cards are for I guess haha

Well I see the tour is filling up - and yet again the Aussies and Kiwis are out in force haha - You guys are not that bad!!! Fun times

Well hope you all have a good week

Jo

Welcome back Jo, wow what a year for you aye!

Bus is filling up, great to see everyone getting on the forums Smiler
The credit crunch is a killer..we have nearly paid the trip off now just saving for spending money, and watching the aussie dollar rise and fall...
