It's great to be paid up. Paid for my travel insurance on Friday and got a really good deal for that. 51 days for under $300, my sister in law is a travel agent and she couldn't get it for me for under $400.
I'm going to try and save all my money for the Stampede and spend it all on deep fried coke. I have one little problem at the moment, i'm in Seattle after the tour and i've got my air ticket out of there to LA paid for(non refundable) but the day I fly out my fav baseball player will be in town but I can't see him. I'm torn weather I should just buy another ticket and see him play or not worry about it and save the $300.

Oh that's not good!! I would buy another ticket if it means that much too you, s'pose you just have to look at what else would you buy with the $300. You don't want any regrets on your tip and the experience could end up being 10 times better..things like that always happen to me..

That's an awesome deal on your insurance, ours was $300 for 30 days..mines paid for too, that and the flights and the Contiki deposit..

ah yes the deep fried coke..with lots of Molson to wash it down I am guessing Smiler
Can't believe how quick everything is happening I better get off my butt and get my passport orgnised. I will once the frantic chrissy and New year Mayhem is out of the way Smiler

Hey Kylie, i'm not going to change my ticket. I'll be seeing at least 5 baseball games while i'm over there. Plus $300 can buy me a flash as outfit (cowboy style) for when we are at the Stampede.

I've been looking at Western sites on the net and the boots cost $1000 and thats US$ There is no way i'll buy any, my friend got some once and we gave him so much crap there is no way I could get away with having a pair now.
So what did you win for coming first??

Hey Kylie, just found out where we stay in Calgary. Also been told that there is a chance we go to a bar not from the hotel that goes off. Plus there is a chance to go shopping before going out. Lots of dressing up in Cowboy hats at the Stampede.

Hey, i'll be doing the tour by myself too. Will be the 5th contiki i've done but the first one by myself. I'm not to worried about it as i've seen how well people get along. Plus don't worry about the flight. I've done a few long ones by myself and there is enough to keep you busy from having dinner and watching videos to having a sleep.

Hey Sheather, did you book the tour? Will you be flying to Vancouver? I going to fly to Seattle from New York and stay there for a day then head up to Vancouver from there the day before the tour starts.

Hey Kylie, I found out a few weeks ago that Farmers Union can be found over most of Oz apart from WA and I think the N.T.
What day do you get to Vancouver? My Grand Southern tour has sold out, just need this one to do the same then everything is cool. I might start a facebook group for this tour. The Southern group has had people join that who haven't been on the contiki site
