Hey all Taking a few days to see the Northern side of NZ before heading to Australia. Anyone taking the Northern Highlights tour from 11/8-11/15? Take care!
I seem to be doing the opposite of you, namely heading to Austrailia first and then coming to New Zealand for the Northern Highlights running form the 8th to the 15th.
Nah, this is my first trip... super pumped for it... how about you??... man... i hope im starting off my trip in the right place!!.. is that normal for us to be going in opposite directions??

That I cannot say. I have not visited either country before nor toured with Contiki previously. I'm sure the specific starting point will have no real bearing on the overall awesomeness of the trip.
With regard to your other posting about staying in the Mercure the night of the 7th I am also doing that. Perhaps we can meet up for a BEvERage that evening?
