Hi everyone,
Just wanting to see whether there are any people leaving London on the 25th Nov 06 for this tour? It is not a garanteed tour and a bit worried that no one else is going on this tour.Jemmah Roll Eyes

I will have my husband with me. We are doing London before we leave, so will be in London 4 days before the tour. That is great news that the tour is garenteed now- how did you find that out?

Hi girls!
I booked my place on this tour a couple of weeks ago!! So excited!
I am also travelling alone, and it is my first trip to europe, so to think that it is less than two months away, is quite scary, really!
Would love to hear back from you!

Awesome! We've got ourselves a nice little crew then by the looks of it!! I'm getting to London a few days before the tour, not sure where I am staying yet. Anyone have any suggestions? And I'm going to spend the rest of Dec in England and Ireland with family. I then have a month to do some more travelling! Hopefully get to see more of Spain and Portugal, and Switzerland.
Anyone staying around London after the tour or going home?

Hey Christina, I'm travelling solo. And Julia also said she was too. So there should be nothing to worry about! We can all stick together! Where are you from?

Hi Tracey,

Nice to meet you Smiler I am from Brisbane. This trip has sort of been a very last minute decision for me. I hope i've left enough time to prepare! Where will you be staying prior to the tour? I will be staying at the hotel where the tour departs the night before... not sure where i will be staying prior to that if i go a week early.

Hey Christina,
Don't stress! There's still a few weeks for you to sort yourself out for the trip!
I will be staying with a friend living London for a few nights when I first arrive, but I am considering booking into the Generator Hostel the night before we leave, because it is closer than my friends place. It is a cheap option. I think about 17 pounds a night. I'll probably book into it the night we get back to London too.

Yeah i've heard of that hostel and that is pretty cheap hey! I think i will definitely stay at the hotel that the tour starts from the night before though just so that i don't rock up late in the morning which i have a tendency to do lol. It will be good to meet everyone the night before cos i think a lot of people stay there before the tour. I might consider it as an option after the tour though if it is that cheap, thanks for the tip.

Hey Everyone!I am Jon from Boston, Mass. This trip was sord of a last minute decision for me too. I figured if I am going to do this its now or never and its something I have wanted to do for a long time!I was travelling alone but am now travelling with a cousin of mine. I wish I was staying in London a little longer at the end of the trip. I am coming in on November 23rd so I think I will have day in between in London before the tour starts and am staying in whatever hotel they put me in like you Christina! I look forward to meeting you all!
-Jon
