bought thermals and gloves today! yay. no use whatsoever in townsville.. currently 28 degrees in the middle of winter.... Cant wait for November!

I think we are going to need thermals! Just looking at the average temperatures for some of the places where we are going- Paris in November ranges from a min of 5 and a max of 10, Berlin in December ranges from -1 minimum to 3 maximum. Brrrrrr!

ive got 5 nights before i fly out of london after the tour. Havnt booked anything yet coz i might try go to ireland or something. not sure what to do

As you are getting into London about 2 days before the tour starts (you’ll be jet lagged for the first day) you could easily occupy 5 days looking around London- there’s the eye, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Madam Ts wax museum etc, pubs etc etc
If you see all of London before your 5 days are up you could take a day trip out into the country side on the train.
I am doing the same as you only in reverse- spending 5 days in London before the tour and heading off pretty much straight after the tour.
