Hey, Me and my mate are doing the WW on the 23rd of December too!! We are both from Auckland. Im 20 and she is 24. Glad there is atleast one other on our tour so far.

Christmas in the swiss alps will be awsome.

Will more then likely be booking in the next couple of months when i can get a better deal at one of the travel expos in sydney.

So any of you plan to do any other travelling or tours afterwards. I'm looking at probably going to egypt for 10 to 12 days as well.

I'm arriving in london the day before the tour and staying in london for 4 days after, but after thinking about every thing there is to see, i'm considering staying a bit longer. Hi! My friend and I are also booked on this tour! I will be 25, she will be 24 and we are from Australia. We are both really excited about going over to Europe, neither of us have been there before. We are getting into London about 5 days before the tour starts, so we thought we would do the London tourist scene first, as we will be leaving a day or so after the Winter Wanderer tour finishes.Its great to hear that there are already other people booked onto this tour, at least this way it won't be cancelled on us do to no tourists!

I was just wondering for those that have booked already, what if any extra info have you received since actually booking. i now 3 or 4 weeks before you go on tour you get a more detailed plan of stuf but i was just wondering if there was anything in paticular.

Hi Louise.

What i was really looking for was the hotels that you stay at, when looking at the tour last year it mentioned that you stayed on top of Mt Pilatus (spelling) in the swiss alps but i cant find any real mention of specifically in the tour book. I talked to Ashlee about this as well and she pretty much said the same as you did, hopefully it is still included. It is one of many things that drew me to the Winter Wanderer.

Have you booked the tour? Ive booked this and my flights too. I arrive the day before the tour and stay at the royal national then im in london for five days before going to singapore for three nights then back to Auckland

I have pretty much organised and decided on everywhere i'm going, but i haven't booked yet i'm waiting for the next travel show. There is one in two weeks but i dont think it will have any deals for this sort of travel. Will wait and see. but its pretty much definat that this i sthe date i'll be goin.

I'll be arriving the day before the tour as well not sure where i will stay probably the royal national.

I contacted Contiki the other day about a couple of thing and by the looks of it the hotel we stay at in laurence is called Hotel Pilatus. Unfortunatly i dont think it is on the mountain but near the base.
