Hey, This tour should be great, My wife and I went on the European Vista in 2005 and we had the best time. The Vista went to almost all the places we will be going this time but you can never get sick of all the places you get to see.
Depening on your tour manager you even get to go to a lot of places thats not on the list.
Last time we organised drinks at the Royal National the night before we left and it was worth it because you get to meet a lot of people thats on the tour before you even start.
This time we are coming with our friends and I think there wont be a problem with a lot of others booking either.

Hi everyone,

i'm a 23 year old female from just north of Sydney and i am definitely doing this tour. I was always doing the winter wanderer, but picked this date because i think that New Year's in Berlin sounds awesome! Now just waiting for uni to go back so that i can book at the travel agent there (cheaper).

I'm also planning to do some independent travelling after the tour to go to some places that the wanderer doesn't cover, including doing an Intrepid tour of Egypt and i'd love to hear from anyone else who is thinking along similar lines.

It would be awesome to meet and get to know others before the tour and i'm definitely up for drinks at the Royal National the night before we leave! It's gonna be an awesome time! (Yeah alright i'm a little excited a bit early)

Hey Lisa,

We are thinking of going to Egypt after the tour as well. We were looking at the Contiki Egypt tour but the closest one starts the day after our tour ends, a bit too close. What's this Intrepid tour like?

Hey Koopa, How ya going?

Not sure about Egypt now, cant find any tours that are close enough to the end of our Contiki. Dont think we will have the time. I was also looking at Iceland after the tour, we would like to see the northern lights. So where in Eastern Europe are you looking at? I havent been there but I think it would be very interesting. Not sure what we are going to do after the tour yet, just throwing around ideas at the moment.
Anyone else have any after tour ideas?
Sometimes the best thing to do is to get over there, allow the time and find what you want to do when you are there. We got invited on so many other cool trips last time but we couldnt go because we already made plans.

Hello everyone,
I'm so glad to hear that many others are planning to do this trip, I am planning on booking this trip in the next month but was worried others may not be.
I'll be travelling alone at this stage and I can't wait to meet up with everyone on tour.
See you all there!

Welcome Mal, koopa and Tweedsta! Its good to see that there are more of us going on this trip now. i am now officially booked.

Sorry about not getting back to you earlier Mal, but the egypt tip i was looking at was called discover egypt and goes for 15 days. Its cheaper that contiki's and is longer so it sees all the same things plus more. i'm probably looking at around the 20th January, but thats not a definite.

Tweedsta, where in the hunter valley are you from? i go to Newcastle uni, so was just curious whether you were there too!

Hey Koopa,
My friend and I are landing in London on 2 Dec and plan to do Scotland / Ireland / Wales before meeting up with Contiki @ Royal National. I know that it's months away but we're on count down. So is everyone keen to meet up for drinks the night before we start tour?
