My sister and I are also going on this trip as well. It is our first time overseas. We are both from QLD, my older sister is 22 and I will be 21 (21st party coming up in a couple months). Do you guys have problems with drinking beer hahah, Marin and I have to toughen the heck up as that is what we will have to drink :-)
Hey Trace It's also our first time to Europe. After the contiki tour my sis & I are actually living in London permanently for a year or 2 and working there. We have some friends over there at the moment & they love it! Where is everyone staying at prior and after the tour? Were looking at the Generator hostel
Oh wow awesome, I'd love to live in London one day! We will get to London Monday morning and stay the week at Royal National, then once the tour ends we stay for the night the tour ends and then take off Tuesday night I think it is, at the Royal National again.
Ah Ok. We get to London on Thurs 29th Oct at 5am in the morning and are probably guna stay at the Generator Hostel (havent booked it yet tho) which is only round the corner from the Royal national but a fair bit cheaper (apparently). How's ur saving going? Mine is going OK but now im starting to panic a bit cos its only a bit over 2 months away!!! How long ago did u book ur trip? There's gota be more people than just us on this tour hey!!

Yeaaah savings are going pretty good, friends keep saying all different amounts they took over there $3000/4000 seems to be the general amount. Right at the end of last yr we booked. Yeah haha, and we are all Australian's maybe there will be 40 American's hahah.
this is the tour starting in london oct 31st, right? (i was thrown off by the start date since it's listed as departing the US on the 29th)...

i'm danielle van dine...from new york. about an hour north of nyc and did live in manhattan for a little while.
i haven't done contiki before but i have a friend who did the ultimate european +egypt last year. i can't even begin to tell you the tons of great things she has to say about it. she's jealous that it's my turn i get more and more excited each day!

oh righto Jess, thanks for insulting us australians. nah im just kidding, im excited about an american too!! yay. No neither of us have been on a contiki either, I've heard great stories too! 2 mates when on this exact tour 2 years ago in december and they said it was the bes time of their life (but it was freezing). I'm worried about the weight of my bag! Did you know they apparently weigh the bag the first day of contiki and it cant be more than 20kg's!
