Hi,

Can finally say we are travelling on the Winter Wanderer tour departing Jan 3rd!! Took awhile to confirm but now that everything is paid in full for contiki there's no turning back.

My name is Chantelle, I'll be 19 on tour, and travelling with a friend, Sophia, who will be 20. We're both currently students and from the Gold Coast (will be quite a shock changing climates). For me it'll be my first time to Europe and can't wait..

Glad to hear that there's some other fellow travellers for the same tour! Looking forward to hearing from you and any others who later join us.

Chantelle

Hi I'm Rob
Yup Im booked in for 3rd January 2007, I'm an Aussie whos been in England for a year then finishing it off with the Tour, I'm 22 from Brizzie, and I'm really stoked about the trip. Im glad to know theres at least four others on the Tour, so far all Aussies, should make it pretty rowdy.

Yeah... I was thinking of changing to the 30th Dec one to spend New Years in Paris... but its like $255 more, and this tour will hopefully be a good crowd... I'm already spending New Years in London which will be heaps good, so I'll use that $255 for more booze!!!!!

Who else is on this tour, seems like a small group so far.... Any singles? Lol....

Woohoo thats awesome,
I was worried because of my tight schedule, it was this trip or no trip, unless I cancelled NY in Prague, hit up the old camping stores Wink or you could always wait till you get here except youl pay double most likely

You'll love Edinburgh, its pretty much my favourite city so far, real good crowd, cheaper than london, if youre going to do the hostel thing then the Castle rock is a great one to do, its big but its got all the good stuff, its easy to meet people there and the staff is great, I'm glad to see there are more people coming, more the merrier, I've done a bit of travelling already so any questions just put up on this site

I'll also be on the January 3, 2007 tour. I'm 23 and from Canada (looks like everyone else is from Australia!). It's pretty cold here, so the cold weather in Europe won't be too much of a change. Can't wait to meet you all!

Hey guys
Sounds like we've got a good crowd already Smiler STOKED AS!!!!
I'm glad to know I'm not the only girl travelling alone Smiler I've never been to Europe before either, so to be exposed to such icy cold degree days after an Australian summer will be an experience...

I'm still so nieve to it all, my folks laugh when I show them my wardrobe I have planned...

Meya-Oz: Where in SA u from? I live in Adelaide too Smiler I go to Adelaide Uni... What day to u leave here? I fly out on the 28th December straight to Heathrow, and spending new years in London with some mates....

Oh... Whats with these new Heathrow baggage rules? Girls - we can't take perfume, foundation or even lip gloss on with our hand luggage! No liquids! So those of us wanting to buy perfume at the French Purfumery better make sure we pack it in our luggage for under the plane as they could confiscate it! Drama Drama!

Well, I'm procrastinating... writing an exam tomorrow but about to go have a glass of wine and watch the sunset (at 7pm... enjoy it while you can, it'll be setting at 3pm in Europe)! but the plus means the partying starts earlier!

My mobile is 0410 620 922 and msn is sharoninoz2004@hotmail.com

Kisses
Shazza

Hey all,
Yeah ive been working just out of London for a year so I have had a bit of chance to get a feel for Europe.
DW about the liquid restrictions its just been updated for the UK that you can take liquids that fit in a clear 20cm by 20cm ziplock bag, so that should cover most stuff that you would need for a flight, plus you can buy what ever you want on the otherside of security, this bought the UK inline with the new EU/Baltic regs, so Im assuming Australia will be close behind, yeah its great to see a big group, anybody can drop me a line on/MSN messenger
newsuntzu@hotmail.com
Cheers all
We should get our final Documents next week nearly 45 days to go already O yeah
