Well I'm 24 and from Sydney. I'll be catching a flight with British Airways on the 8th and arriving in London around 6am on the 9th. No doubt try to get as much sleep as possible during the flight so I'll be ready to go the second I touch down
And yes Lilly a facebook page sounds good. Haven't spotted one for our group yet.. so I put one together myself.
Thnaks for making a facebook page! I'm new to facebook (I like myspace much better) and wasn't sure about doing a tour page myself. My work is dumb like Lilly's so it's blocked. But when I get home after work tonight I'll look it up.
That's awesome that your work actually unblocks things for a little while! lol My work never does. If I go home during my lunch break then I can check everything udring the day, otherwise I have to wait till I get home everyday. Thankfully they don't have the Contiki site blocked.
You reminded me, Lilly, that the tours actaully starts January 10 so 2 months from today (it's still Monday the 10th for me) we will be heading over the white Dover Cliffs across the English Channel to Paris!
I was so confused when I first got onto the forums because of the start dates of the tours. What I mean is that because I'm coming from America, they add on 2 travel days for me. So when I was looking for my tour on here, I was always a day or 2 off until someone explained about the dates. And finally deciding on a tour helped too!
you are able to go home during your lunch?? wow I work in Sydney city, and I live in the western Suburbs so it takes me a hour to get to work and a hour to get home from work every single day
I know what you mean Lilly. I too work in the city and some days I'd love to just go home for lunch. But since I work as a computer tech I just use a bypass to give myself access to facebook, youtube etc. Nothing beats spending your lunch hour chatting on msn or watching The Simpsons at your desk. lol
lol...bypassing to give ur self access hahaha.... u gotta love that peak hour train congestion in getting home from the city as well :P (and yes that was random but i was just thinking its 3.5 hours till i get caught in it for today hahaha)
I work only a few miles from my house so I am definitely spoiled! Most people have to drive quite a while in traffic to work but I lucked out when I got my job. I will admit, some days it is so nice to go home, take off the heels and lay on the couch for a bit and watch tv, even for a half hour. Helps keep me sane at my job all day.
I have a feeling our IT guy at work knows all the tricks like you Aaron to get around the rules at work. Must be nice!
hahaha I was thinking the same thing. It's funny how some people managed to find the facebook page but not this one. The contiki website has so much good info and the forums have helped me so much! I think the agents should be telling everyone about this when people book. Who beter to give advice than people who have actually done a contiki tour, right?
