Hay my name is Selena im from Australia, ive just booked my first contiki tour the winter wanderer that leaves on the 6th Jan 2010 and its my first trip overseas, just wondering if anyone else has booked this tour?? Or if anyone has been on it what its like and any extra options I should check out??

Hi Selena. I did this tour at the start of the year and it's awesome!
It was my first contiki as well but that didn't have any impact.
You will have a blast, and since it's off season it's quite easy getting access to the main venues.
Here's a tip:
Australian cold is nothing compared to Europe cold. Be sure the bring plenty of warm clothes because it gets very chilly. I believe it got to -10 in some areas.

Im from perth but have been living in brisbane for the past 8 months...Yeah doing the tour by myself and first time overseas so excited, Im heading to scotland before the tour to spend new years and chrissy with a friend!!! So where abouts in perth are you from??

I used to live in East Perth... Yeah I know I will get frost bite I wreckon haha! Yeah brissy is quite nice still miss perth though, So how old are you and what do you do for work??

My girlfriend Ashleigh & I are booked to go on this tour, should be quite exciting. I am 21 and Ash is 20.
Selena, Scotland will be cool for new years, be sure to go to the Edinburgh street party on new years eve(google it)

Hey Dan, good to see someone else coming on this tour. Damn i feel old now at 24 when everyone is 20. but i wont let that stop me from having a good time. I wont be in London for new years. I'll be in New York on another Contiki tour. Should be just as good though

nathan- 24 is better than 20. 20 is the first yr of not being a teenager! its scary haha!
