haha, yes. well, to be honest i didn't know if it was tamara, or tamar (i know someone named tamar). heh.
yeah, the hostel looks good. have you stayed in many hostels before? i've stayed in a whole bunch, and have generally gotten an interesting mix of all kinds of people.
yes, we are all north americans so far. judging by my last contiki, we'll have at least a dozen aussies as well! where is everyone though?! the tour is only two months away.

So, APPARENTLY North Americans need a visa to enter Russia. This just came to my attention today. Woops! I'm sure everyone else already knew this, but just incase... yeah. Get on that.

Yah, it was expensive, too. I wish Contiki would have told me my trip was going to cost a few hundred extra dollars! Booooooo!  The company I used was great - had everything taken care of within two weeks! http://www.russia-visa.com/

yeah, it looks like this visa is going to set me back about $200!!! not cool at all.

Hey Everyone,
I am on this tour as well and from North America as well!
I am also thinking of arriving early in Riga for an extra day or so, but undecided on what I am doing after Copenhagen....
