I'm going on the 32 day Scandi/Russia tour departing 5th August and am really excited!! I haven't been on Contiki before and i'm sure it's going to be an experience.....

Hi Amy,

I'm Damien and Im from good old Melbourne. Im 25 and I have just booked this tour today. I will fly into London for a week at the start of July before I head over to Berlin with friends for the Love Parade on the 15th July. (I booked us an apartment right out front of Brandenburg Gate )  I have booked Oktober Fest through Contiki again as well. Between this tour starting and Love Parade I will be heading to some East Block countries such as Czec, Hungary, Slovak and Poland.


I have been on the 37 day Europe Adventurer before and was damn good also spent a month driving around after it which I met up with Contiki at Oktoberfest for the week in the tents. Then went to Prague where a friend that came met his now wife. 

If anyone wants to chat on msn or drop me an email I can be found on. Also this tour also launches with people doing the half Russ and Scandi tours so if will be ont he same bus would like to talk also.

hello all.

i just booked this trip today.
im a 24 yr old male from sydney and this is my 3rd contiki tour, done one in 01, 04 and now 06 again.

ill arrive in copenhagen the 5th, do the tour, then afterwoods meet up with a friend in munich, go travelling for a week or so, then off to london to do the 7 day contiki oktoberfewst tour before coming home.

im excited and nervous and know we are tgoing to have a fanstastic time.

Wow, sounds like you're going to be full on, your trip sounds fantabulous!!

I was originally going to do Eastern Europe with a friend but she bailed on me about 5 weeks ago and that's when i decided contiki was the answer!



I'm flying to London in the 28th July, have a week there then into Copenhagen for the tour, prob stay on a day or so after the tour then back to London cos i'm actually moving there to live and work indefinately, so i'm real excited about everything, even though it's a bit scary too...



I really wanted to go to Oktoberfest but i think i'm gunna be too broke which sux, but we'll see.



Anyway hopefully there'll be some great people on this tour and i know we're gunna have heaps of boozy fun, haha

Hey, I'm Deb, 22 from Brisbane, doing this tour with a friend. We're going to London for a couple of days before the tour and then back to the UK for a couple of weeks afterwards.

This will be my second Contiki tour, so I can't wait to meet a whole new bunch of people. I'm looking forward to seeing Russia and Poland the most, but the Scandinavia part sounds awesome too.  The only downside is missing 7 weeks of the footy season

Hi Deb,
            Good to see some more people onboard I have added you on msn but we havnt run into each other yet to say hi. I leave in 3 weeks so hopefully we will atleast once before the tour starts.

Miss 7 weeks of the footy I hope by that you mean AFL :O as you live in Brisbane and I dont count a sport where you throw a ball backwards to move forwards football lol. Anyways just stiring the pot before we all head off. Well at this stage Im actualy in "the real" football fever soccer. Loving the World Cup and good to see my 2 teams doing well being Australia and Holland. I will actualy be in Holland for the semis and final. Amtmosphere in Europe will be great pppl so get prepared to soak it up!

Anyways enough from me best if I book the rest of my stuff before I go.
