Howdy Y'all,

Anybody else out there doing the July 9th tour of Russia and the Baltics? The tour is supposedly full, so I know you're out there! Let's start getting to know one another.

Hey Mark and Mim,

It's good to hear from y'all. I've been "practicing" drinking vodka, so I should be ready to go. Are y'all doing the Scandinavian extension to the tour? Also, have you gotten your visas? What did you have to send in to get them? By the way, I'm from Texas and I'm traveling with a friend of mine. So Mim, what's Mim short for?

for my visa, I filled out the form and sent my passport and invitation letter (the one you get from contiki) to the russia embassy, paid the money and got it back in 2 weeks, paid for the quick turn-a-round because I'm flying out this friday

are you traveling anywhere else? or just the tourer?

my guess is that Mim is short for Miriam?

I'm actually in Canada at the moment and having a blast. I'm flying to Moscow once I leave North America. Look forward to meeting you - is there a facebook group or anyting yet for this tour?

I sent off the paperwork for my visa today, so hopefully I'll be all set here in a couple of weeks.

I'm only doing Moscow to Stockholm, unfortunately. Work is too busy right now for me to take off longer, so I'm saving my vacation for a trip to Thailand and Cambodia later this year or next year. Mark, where else are you going?

There is actually a Facebook group for the tour. It's just me and Stephanie right now, but we would sure like the company!

I'm flying out of Austin on July 9th in the morning. Where are you flying through, Mim? You should have stayed for a couple of days in Texas!

Scratch that, ny flight is actually via Dalls. I think it gets there about midday-ish...does that mean that Contiki hang around the airport all day to pick up the group?

Mim, Contiki should have someone who basically drives back and forth between our hotel and the airport all day long, so you should be good. Just make sure that Contiki has your flight information so they'll know when you're arriving.

Mark, make sure you hit Belgium while you're there. They have the best beer!
