hey dave! me and my mate jesse will be on this tour with you! we're both 19/f from sydney. this is our first contiki tour and also first trips to europe. we'll be seeing friends in uk and france before the tour. very excited!

WooHoo!! I'm not going alone! haha. That's cool that you're traveling with a friend. I going solo, but I'm sure we'll all be one big family by the end.

I'm doing some traveling before and after the tour as well. I'm spending four days in Iceland before the tour starts, then after the tour I'm going to spend a week with a friend in France before heading off to Southeast Asia to do a 38 day tour of Thailand/Vietnam/Cambodia/Laos. Before I go home I'm also spending a week in Hong Kong and four days in Taiwan. Can't wait!

Haha no worries. When are you guys arriving in Copenhagen? I'm arriving on the 6th, but not sure where I'll be staying yet - possibly the same hostel that we stay at with the tour, but I've heard it's kinda a long way from the city center.

I just got my Russian visa yesterday!! August can't come soon enough!

Hi again Dave!
We're getting to Copenhagen about 3 days before and staying about 3 days after. I've got a friend there who lives near the city centre and she's letting us stay with her. Hooray for floors and lounges! I've heard the hostel's quite far out too. Maybe look into a hostel closer to the city centre? I doubt they'd be much if any more expensive.

I got my Russian Visa back in January! It's such a great feeling when that comes through. I'm worried about getting into Belarus though, it's about $65USD cash and 3 passport photos on the border isn't it?

I wouldn't worry too much about the Belarus visa. One of my friends did this tour last year and she said our TM will take care of everything for us while we're in Moscow. I got an e-mail from Contiki about the visa - they said we just have to give our TM 65€ (Euros) and one color passport photo. I already got the photo and we can all get some extra euros in Finland.

I'm arriving in Copenhagen on the 6th. Maybe we could plan on meeting up and do some sightseeing?

Sorry but I can't get together in Copenhagen before the tour. I'm seeing friends I barely see (since they live on the other side of the world and all) and I've only got 3 days with them. I'll be way too busy with all of them.
