Hi! I'm considering the Scandinavia/Russia 33 day trip in June 2007. Is anyone else out there thinking of the same trip?

Martina,

When I did my tour last year most people on my tour were in there late 20's to early 30's. I'm sure you'll find plenty of "old" people on your tour.

i read some parts of your travelog and it sounds great. Thanks very much for your quick answer, so maybe I'm not too old for contiki yet . I just wouldn't really like to travel with all 18 year old people, who have just left school , I guess I would feel veeeeeeeeery old then .
I'm new to contiki, but I have been on a suntrek tour in USA last year and it was great!
But could you please tell me how many people were on your trip last year? On my USA tour we were only 9, which was great.

I'm just a bit concerned about the age of the other people, because I've heard, that there are lots of young guys who just want do get drunk all the time and I actually would like to see something on my trip. I mean drinking is ok, but not all day long .
so you're gonna book the trip? I haven't decided yet.

Hi Martina,

I haven't actually been on a Contiki trip yet but I know someone who has and I've talked to a few others. I think that on every trip you're going to get the group that's just there to party. Although I don't think it's a bad thing to head over to the pub or bar sometimes, I'd hate to miss some more interesting things that I'm actually there to see... I can always drink back here at home anytime I want...when's the next time I'll be in Scandinavia or Russia??? I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure you'll find someone on the trip that shares your interests. If you end up on the same trip as mine, it sounds like we'd probably get along.

My name is Jane! Im thinking of going on the Scandavia and Russia trip! not sure which one yet as I want to see the running of the bulls and the tomato festival in Spain and also want to be in Turkey for Anzac Day! so pondering dates at the moment but I love the look of the tour!! And I think being in Norway to see the midnight sun will just be so unreal!!!

Anyway just thought Id let Martina know that Iv been on a contiki tour and they are great fun! And you do as much drinking as you like! But eavery morning is an early departure so even if other got totally drunk they will not affect your chance of viewing all the things you like. I only went on a 12 day european discovery tour but it was great!!! The tour guide actually named me a FOMO as I have a fear of missing out. I wanted to do everything you possibly could.
