Just starting a thread for all those who are booked on either of the tour start dates listed in the subject line.

If you're joining in Riga, Moscow or Stockholm, I'd like to say 'Hi, Hello & Welcome!'. This forum provides an excellent place to meet fellow travellers before the tour and ask any questions you may have. Post any quesitons related to the tour itself or countries or the itinery, if you have a question there's a good chance someone else may be thinking of the same question also.

I'm booked on from Riga to Copenhagen - the full 22 days! August is a great time to travel in this part of the world (plus the Aug 11 departure from Riga is a few hundred dollars cheaper than the one leaving just before it).

I have booked the full 22 days starting from Riga as well. I am really looking forward to it and since the 22 day trip is the Russia and the Scandinavia trips put together, that will mean we'll get to meet different people on each leg of the trip. I think it is going to be awesome. I have always wanted to go to Russia and am really looking forward to white water rafting in Norway (that is if I don't chicken out).

I have started a Facebook group for anyone leaving Riga on August 11, Moscow on August 14 or from Stockholm on the 23rd.

I have seen a bunch of posts in the Contiki forum from others who are doing (all or part of)the same trip as well so it is looking promising. Most people seem to be starting in Moscow but there are a few that are starting in Riga.

I'm booked on the Russia and the Baltic tour starting in Riga on the 11th. I'm actually arriving in Riga a day earlier, and staying in Stockholm an extra day at the end. Unfortunally, I couldn't take all the time off of work to do Norway and Denmark as well.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

I just booked this tour last week. I'll be doing the full tour (start Riga, end Copenhagen.) I'm super excited, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself till August. This will be my first Contiki tour and I'm travelling solo.

The week before the tour I'm visiting a friend in Hamburg then going to Berlin for a few days. I hope to arrive in Riga a day early on the 10th. I'm also spending a few extra days in Copenhagen at the end.

This tour is going to be greatness.

I've booked my trip (starting in Moscow) on the 14th and finishing in Copenhagen. I can't wait. Unfortunately i'm flying out the same day as we get in on the 31st to the UK.

This will be my 2nd Contiki tour, I did my first one last year 37 days through Europe. It was amazing!

I just booked (and paid) my trip- I will be starting in Stockholm for the Scandi portion. Will spend an extra day in Copenhagen afterwards as well. This will be my first Contiki and my first time in Europe. Can't wait!
