Is anyone signing up for the Aug 21st Russia trip, starting in Moscow? It starts Riga on Aug 18th, ends in Stockholm Aug 31. That's the weekend which overlaps Labor Day in the USA, so it helps save a vacation day!
I just started researching flights plus I'm trying to maybe use some miles.... I hope to figure it out in the next week or so and can let you know then! It looks like most leave from Newark or JFK in the mid-afternoon and get into Moscow on the 21st from 12-3ish.... Contiki says they'll pick us up from the airport and bring us to the hotel, which is one less thing to worry about!
I found some great flights on Finnair out of JFK through Helsinki. Flight gets into Moscow at 1:45pm on the 21st. Prices are around $900 which is very good for flying into and out of two Euro cities. Let me know if you need more info on these flights or use miles on another flight.
I'm going through Newark and also found great deals--- for the same price, I managed to find direct. I'm not using my miles, since I would've had to have a layover... I'll save them for my next vacation :-)
Is anyone else going on this trip? I'm trying to decide whether to fly in early on the 20th (and if so, where to stay that night), or on the evening of the 21st.
I am starting in Stockholm. I actually just did the Russia, Finland, and Sweden part of this tour and now going back to see the rest of Scandi. If anyone has any questions about first part of the tour, feel free to ask. I started in Moscow.

I am also starting in Stockholm, I am so excited for this trip! I am flying into Stockholm on the night of the 27th if anyone gets there early and wants so see the sites just let me know!
Just want to check if the scandinavia part that some of you are going in is the one that starts on the 23rd of August? If so then I'll see you there! Looking so forward to it!
